Questions 1-5 out of 40 (and my answers) for you to get to know me better, peek at me from underneath the skin, follow me behind closed doors and SEE what makes me tick!

1. What’s your favourite thing about yourself that no one else would find endearing?

   I ask so many personal questions because I am overly interested in hope people are doing, how they are feeling, what emotions they are experiences, what the last book they were reading, so I can get a good feel for them and because I care deeply. *side-note: It’s probably a symptom of my ‘Toxic’ Empathy / hyper-empathy; occurs when someone can thoroughly understand and empathise with the feelings and experiences of others, but they take it too far and end up placing others' needs ahead of their own. Toxic empathy can cause you to lose sight of your needs, harming your well-being.

2. What’s the weirdest date you’ve ever been on?

   We went to the cinema me and a guy who had a body to die for the perfect height the most affectionate and attentive personality and the biggest durrrk I have ever seen. We were so young in out late teens like 19 or something (ages and dates deter my memory and blend into each other) at a guess I could have been closer to 20 years of age. I had been having a long distance relationship with what turned out to be my first love, first love-bomb (before the term was coined), first fail, first person to ghost me and break my heart.. blah blah). Anyway, in the meantime I met this ‘'Bruce Lee Body’ guy and we had made a connection. My mind was too involved with the typical ‘Bad Boy’ who I just described. This guy took me to the cinema and picked the worse, most boring film EVER, called Sideways (2004) that confirms I was only 20! Cool. He was being too nice. That’s all I can tell you and I wasn’t in the mood for naughty business, I didn’t think he wanted it either but going from his choice of movie, it was probably done purposely so we could lose interest easily and make our own entertainment. When he went to get some snacks I chose the two middle FRONT ROW seats to avoid being at the back - it needn’t have made any difference as the cinema was hardly packed. I might revisit this film one day, now I’m old and boring too. I wrote a weird prose, sort of poetic, account of this (taken from my old notes app) and shared it with you in yesterday’s Daily Drop in The Daily Chase! Newsletter.

3. What’s the most embarrassing thing someone has walked in on you doing?

   Masturbating on their bed while they were out of the shop and their sister came out of her room and saw me through the crack in the door which was left ajar. I hadn’t realised anyone else was home at the time! NEXT…

4. What’s the most niche insult you can come up on the spot?

   EMPTY VESSELS MAKE THE MOST NOISE It’s not an original comment but I use it in my own context as an insult all the time. (Other than that I just call him a Turnip!) I believe it was Plato who said it first :

   

5. Do you have a favourite dinosaur?

   Yes, me… right, I’ll stop being silly. The first one which came to mind was the pterodactyl because I think they’re kind of cute. Cute is questionable. They walked on their entire back foot just as humans do, with the heel touching the ground (a condition known as being plantigrade), unlike dinosaurs who walked on only their toes. Some pterosaurs were also likely competent swimmers, and some species which lived over water may have habitually swam or dove. I liked that they always have one foot on the ground. Cue!! EXIT SONG.. xxx
